Description Of Work:
Kromer Contracting reconfigured and remodeled my master bathroom, installed the tile backsplash in my kitchen, installed porcelain hardwood looking tile in about 60% of my downstairs (a very large space), installed crown molding and other trim in most of my downstairs. I was so pleased with the work that they are back again this week to begin finishing my basement.

Kromer Contracting did a great job. Everything came out consistent with our high expectations.
The tile experts are top notch, just nice guys and take pride in their work. Our first floor tile was a big job (like 600+ square feet). We are very happy with it.
CJ copes all his crown molding so the seams are great. We basically have no splitting/cracking even though the temperature went below zero this winter. And he is so efficient with it. I watched him to my dining room perfectly and I don’t think it took an hour.
His reveals around doors and windows are perfect. He carries around a tool to make sure everything is symmetrical. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for some other folks that worked on our house. I am secretly hoping CJ fixes their work while working on our basement in these coming weeks…
When all is said and done in a project, the sheet rock and the trim quality is key, and in our bathroom it was perfect. CJ Kromer is quite a master with plaster (rhyme unintentional). The walls look great. The trim couldn’t be straighter, the pocket door glides smoothly.
We did a lot of work to our house and had to move out for a while with two babies. We were also impacted by Hurricane Sandy. It was critical that timelines were met for us to keep our sanity. We met with CJ to discuss this and went over the calendar and low and behold we were back in the house right when we targeted. He moved his schedule around to accommodate us and that was very helpful.
CJ was happy to help us find some other professional (for instance floor refinishing). We were very happy with that referral. Quality was excellent and price was fine.
I am happy to refer CJ Kromer to anyone doing interior work to their home and want high quality and at a fair price. My sister and some of my neighbors have hired him and are very happy. Make no mistake about it, you get what you pay for.
Lastly, just from a comfort perspective, I feel totally at ease with CJ at my house either when no one is home or just my girls are home. That is huge. My wife feels the same way. CJ is responsive to texts and phone calls whenever.
